Our Mission:

Nurture.

As an extension of the home and church, at Coastline Christian Academy, it is our mission to help believing parents raise their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord” by training each student in the knowledge of God and the scriptural way of life, coupled with the highest standards of academic instruction.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

From K-8

At Coastline Christian Academy, we value moral and academic excellence. Every grade level from kindergarten through 8th grade incorporates both of these elements throughout the school day. A Biblically-based curriculum and academic program challenges students to grow in their knowledge of the world God created, pursue upright moral character, develop strong leadership qualities, and cultivate a solid Christian foundation.

Grades served at Coastline

Coastline serves kindergarten through junior high. Junior Highers take on new leadership and service positions within the school.

Average class size

The average class size of 18 allows each student to get individual attention as he or she studies phonics, sight words, math, Bible, science, and social studies.

20

years serving our community

On June 19th, 1999, nine local Christian families, representing various places of worship, backgrounds and circumstances, met at Stow Grove Park in Goleta to brainstorm and pray together regarding their children’s future education. Collectively, these parents desired an affordable Christian school for their children, a place where they would be encouraged to love and serve God with all their hearts.

The Coastline Experience

Affordable tuition

At Coastline Christian Academy, we believe that all families should have access to an affordable, high-quality Christian education. By partnering with parents, we can keep costs down while still providing strong academic standards and godly character development. For families with more than one child, each additional child receives 25% off tuition. Coastline also offers financial aid opportunities.

Small class sizes

The average class size of 18 allows every student to receive the individual attention needed to thrive.

Daily chapel

Students, teachers, and staff join together every morning for chapel. Singing worship songs, hearing a Biblically-based message, reading scriptures, and praying start our hearts off on the right track, giving Jesus first place in our lives. Encouraging a sense of community, grade levels are mixed in the seating arrangement. Parents and siblings are regularly welcome to join in chapel.

Art

Coastline has a wonderful art program taught by our art teacher, Liz Reilly. Students in all grades receive regular art instruction. They learn about famous artists and have the opportunity to create vibrant, grade level appropriate projects. The art instruction culminates with an art show in the spring where a sample of every student's art is put on display.

"After years of homeschooling and never believing any school would ever measure up, Coastline has greatly exceeded our expectations! My daughter said it was the best thing that has ever happened to her. We love it so much we wish all our kids had gone there from the very beginning!"
