Loving the Lord
The Coastline kindergarten experience is unique. Students learn to see everything through the focus of loving the Lord. The sound of kindergartners singing often spills into the hallway.
The average class size of 18 allows each student to get individual attention as he or she studies phonics, sight words, math, Bible, science, and social studies.
Overall, a balance of structured time and unstructured time provides just the right setting for the most possible learning. By the end of the kindergarten year, all students are reading.
The transition to 1st grade the following year is smooth because the children already have met the students in older classes during the chapel and morning recess. We love to see the children playing together across grade levels.
